RT Environmental Declarations are recognised by the RT logo

The activity began in 1988, and new environmental declarations have been compiled since 2004. A company that has been granted a declaration has the right to mark the product with the RT logo and to use the logo for marketing purposes.
The Building Information Foundation oversees the use of the logo.

Validity of the RT Environmental Declaration
The declaration is granted for three years provided that the composition and method of manufacturing the product have not changed.

Distribution of the RT Environmental Declarations
The producer of the product is allowed to use RT Environmental Declarations in marketing. All verified declarations are published on the Web site of RTS. The Web site tarviketieto.net contains a database of Product Files produced by Building Information.
