Recognition of Professionals in the Real Estate and Construction Sector
We actively seek to encourage young people to enter the field and to recognize those who have already made distinguished contributions within the industry. As an acknowledgment of valuable work in promoting or developing good property management or construction practices, we award recognitions annually.
Scholarships, awards, and medals of merit are granted by the Board of the Building Information Foundation RTS. In awarding prizes, the members of the Board consider the views and recommendations of a prize jury established for each award. The prize jury typically consists of two members of the Representative Council and one member of the Board. Prize juries are formed annually for each award to be granted.
Pietilä Award
The Pietilä Award is granted every third year in recognition of a young architect or a group of architects who have made a significant contribution to renewing architecture.
Rakennustieto Award
The Rakennustieto Award is granted every third year to an individual, group, or organization that has produced high-quality knowledge for the sector and thereby promoted good practices in zoning, construction, or property management.
RAKEVA Award
The Rakeva Award is granted every third year to an individual, group, company, or organization that has promoted the application of new practices or methods in design or construction within the construction sector.
Gold Medal of Merit
The Gold Medal of Merit is granted for special reasons, to individuals who have had a significant impact on the activities of the RTS Group.
