Open Podcast Studio

Open Podcast Studio is a public platform for conversations about architecture, design and cities. The museum invites creative practitioners from different fields to produce podcast series that engage audiences in discussion and make compelling questions in architecture accessible and relevant to the present day.

The podcast event series launches with New Academy Radio, which focuses on architecture and urban planning. Researchers and professionals critically examine the development of Finnish architecture, bringing together diverse perspectives that deepen and broaden established views of its history. Through interviews and discussions, the series explores topics such as architectural education, principles of design and some of the major figures in Finnish architecture. Aimed at a broad audience, the discussions offer a critical perspective on the built environment and consider how we can create a more thoughtful and inclusive future.

Come and watch the podcast recordings at Etelänranta

New Academy Radio’s live discussions will be recorded and later released as a podcast series. The recordings are free to attend and take place at the Etelänranta 6 event venue. Advance registration is required.
